"1)Advertised as having a restaurant. Reality is a Subway in the same building.
2) No coffee/Tea facility in room
3) This place is looking very old and ripe for re-development. Externally, bare blockwork where doors and windows have been blocked up, half finished remodelling.
4) Rooms very tired, badly in need of painting, plumbing fittings rusted.
5) Advertised as downtown - down which town? Not well placed for the attractions of Venice
Summary: $100 dollars a night (total) is about $70 too much."

Days Inn Venice is located ten minutes from miles of untamed beaches and the sparkling Gulf waters, as well as 12 PGA Golf Courses. Venice is a quaint city built in Mediterranean style in the late 1900s. Next to the hotel there are shopping malls, theaters, restaurants, and national brand stores. And for International flavor, 20 miles away is Saint Armand's Circle and Sarasota, the cultural center of the West Coast of Florida with multiple theaters and art galleries. For the recreationally inclined, there is an outdoor pool on site with lounging area. The inn also offers ice/vending machines, 24-hour front desk, room service, free coffee, free parking, business services, safety deposit, laundry/valet services, and meeting facilities. Pets are allowed with an additional fee of 15 to 30 per stay. Each room has air-conditioning, AM/FM clock radio, hairdryer, dataport phone, and cable television. Microwaves and refrigerators are available at the front desk. Non-smoking and handicapped-accessible rooms are available.
